MoodMoon is a poetic wall and ceiling lamp designed by Sebastian Hepting for Ingo Maurer in 2021. With a restrained design, it lets the unique Japanese paper take centre stage. The structure of the thin paper creates a warm, cosy glow when illuminated from behind by energy-efficient LEDs. Each piece is unique thanks to the natural fibres of the paper and the craftsmanship that takes place in the Munich workshop. MoodMoon is an expression of the balance between traditional materials and modern technology, and will be an elegant mood enhancer in homes and public spaces.
About the Wall/Ceiling Lamp from Ingo Maurer
– Made from exclusive Japanese paper with natural fibre variations.
– Each lamp is unique thanks to handmade production.
– Can be mounted both on the wall and on the ceiling.
– Supplied with remote control and magnetic wall bracket.
– Can be linked to multiple lights for synchronised control.
– 350 cm cable with foot switch included.
As we are based in Europe, all our lamps/electrical items are made to the European standard of 220-230 volts, with an european plug. Due to the new EU directives, plugs for ceiling lamps, pendants and chandeliers are not included. They are CE-marked which means that they are approved for use in Europe only. We recommend using a 110 to 220 volt adapter, although we still cannot guarantee that it will work perfectly in your home.The difference in voltage may affect the light of the lamp and you will not be able to use a dimmer function. The lamp can also make ‘wiring noises’ due to the voltage difference.If you alter or rewire the lamp/item in any way, there will be no warranty applicable for the lamp/item and you cannot return it.
